A Brazilian transplant to Argentina, SAM has spent most of his life living in Villa Ballester, in the province of Buenos Aires. It was his daily train ride into the city which introduced him to the New York style graffiti which lined the tracks. He experimented with works based around letters for years, but always demonstrated a flair for muralism and a love of abstract art.

Stylistically SAM’s paintings demonstrate an affinity for cubism and futurism, with his murals and gallery works exploring contrasts between vibrant colours and organic and geometric forms.
